We’ve invested in our technology team, so you can take your company to the next level.
Today Swept is taking a big step towards giving cleaning business owners the tools they need to succeed. Our newest feature release – Travel Time – is here!
Travel Time saves managers valuable hours, boosting efficiency by reducing manual payroll updates. Travel time is automatically calculated between locations based on limits set by the manager. This allows them to easily review and approve the time when completing their payroll.
Travel time is the first feature to go through our new beta process, allowing a few of our customers to test it and provide feedback. We have implemented many of their suggestions and are now proud to unveil the new feature.
At Swept, we are continuously striving to improve our product. To do so, we’ve invested heavily in our engineering team.
Led by new addition Jason Chakravorty (VP, Engineering) our engineering team is comprised of three main teams; Product, Development, and Quality Assurance. Using his years of experience in the technology industry Jason is guiding the growth of all three teams. We are ready to get to work. Our founder, Michael Brown has prioritized improving the Swept product and has been key to making these significant team changes. As a former owner of a cleaning company, there is no one better than Michael to provide “been there, done that” insights into what our customers need to get ahead. Michael is now working directly with real Swept customers to provide the engineering team with a product vision and strategy.
This big focus on our engineering team has allowed us to release many new features. In the last 6 months we have been able to deliver the following:
Responsive web application – Allowing managers to access the power of the full browser experience on the go
Poor mood report
Offsite sign in/out report
Google location lookup and verification
Employee and location ID fields on our exports
Substantial updates to our payroll workflow
Welcome center
And – perhaps the most anticipated – the release of Travel Time today
We have also made some major improvements to the foundation of our system. These foundational changes not only make it quicker and easier for us to build new features, but will make Swept more reliable for our users. Earlier in the year, we moved to an industry standard date/time solution which makes our system more reliable and flexible. More recently we began the process of rolling out our new alerts architecture, which should improve the performance and reliability of our alerts.
Our team is closing out the year out strong working on an improved supply request workflow and intend to keep the features coming in the new year. On the roadmap to be added are features like task tracking, client portal, and an insights dashboard. We also are planning to make improvements to our current geofence and messaging features.
We are always excited to hear from great customers like you. If you have any questions or features you would like to see reach out to your Customer Success Manager and let them know!
